Compare Plant Information
Use the
Compare plant information
action to compare the attribute values of department data and plant data objects. This action compares the values given for an attribute for the selected parts.
| The values for Version, State, and Effectivity attributes cannot be compared. |
1. To compare plant information, in the Edit Plant Information window, select the parts to compare. All the attribute values for all the objects are selected for comparison.
2. Click
on the tool bar or select
Compare plant information from the right-click actions menu.
The comparison result appears. The compared attribute values are highlighted in blue. The values that are different within each attribute are shown in bold.
If you want to clear highlighting from the compared cells, click
Clear comparison
from the tool bar or right-click actions menu.
Additionally, you can compare the different iterations of a department data object and plant data object.
1. In the Edit Plant Information window, select the object for which you want to compare the iterations.
2. Click
on the tool bar or select
Compare iterations from the right-click actions menu and select what you want to compare for the selected object:
◦ All iterations: Compares all iterations of the selected object.
◦ Latest iteration of all revisions: Compares only the latest iteration of each revision.
◦ Iterations of selected revision: Compares all the iterations of the selected revision.
