Co-produce Object
In a manufacturing plant, the same material can be used to produce different components required to build a product. This material can be a raw-material or a semi-finished part.
Parts that are produced in a single production process can be put together as a co-produce object. You can create a co-produce object by selecting at least two parts from a BOM structure. One of the parts can be considered as primary, and the other part as secondary.
In the example, Material1 is used to produce Component1 and Component2. If you select Component1 and Component2 to create a co-produce object, one of these parts can be assigned as the primary part and the other as the secondary part.
