About the Distribution Target Information Page
A distribution target is the destination for published data. A distribution target typically represents another enterprise system, such as an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system. Or, this can be an entity within that system, such as a manufacturing plant or location. The Distribution Targets table shows which distribution targets receive published data.
The distribution target information page is a collection point for information related to a distribution target. The information page of a distribution target is accessed by clicking the information icon
from the
Distribution Targets table in the
Manage Distribution utility.
From the information page, you can perform actions on a distribution target, as well as view the object attributes and any related information.

Actions
Information pages contain a list of applicable actions in a menu in the upper left corner of the page. See
Actions Common Among Objects for a list of common actions available in
Windchill. The availability of these actions depends on the status of the distribution target, as well as your access to it. For more information about status indicators, see
Object Status.

Delete | Deletes the distribution target. |
Edit Distribution Target | |
 Move to Parent Context | Moves the selected distribution target to a higher level (or parent) context. |

Related Objects | The Related Objects tab displays other objects that are associated with the object. The following attributes may be of particular interest for this object: • Distributed Process (appears only if a distributed process exists on your system) | This tab only appears for a Distributed Process distribution target. |
