As part of your implementation planning and before installing Windchill Enterprise Systems Integration, you need to be aware of the assumptions made for the distribution target and then perform the prerequisite configurations.

Windchill Enterprise Systems Integration may not function as expected on SAP distribution targets that do not match the criteria listed in this section. In some cases, applying the relevant SAP Notes or SAP Support Packages might be sufficient to update the SAP distribution target to perform the expected functions. In other cases, the distribution targets must be classified as unsupported.
