PTC Author License provides a base set of capabilities and is a prerequisite to all role-based licenses except PTC Contributor License and PTC View and Print Only License.

• PTC PDMLink module provides a base set of capabilities to all PTC SLM packages.
• As a prerequisite to PTC Design Control License, users must be added to one of the following license groups. These licenses provide base set of capabilities to PTC Design Control License.
• If role-based, PTC BOM Transformation License and PTC EBOM Management License.
• If module-based, PTC PDMLink Module License or PTC ProjectLink Module License.

To entitle a user to all Windchill features, ensure that the user is a member of the PTC Author License group and PTC Manufacturing License group.
