Multi-fidelity and Batch Interference
The fidelity used impacts the batch interference results. If the Preferred Fidelity is set when creating or editing an Interference Detection Definition, then that fidelity is used to generate the interferences. If the fidelity is set in the IDD, but the representation does not have this fidelity, the fallback logic is used. If it is not set, for instance in an IDD created before multi-fidelity was available, then set the fidelity to use in the following way:
If WVS is configured to use a fixed user for the Interference Detection jobs sent to the Clash worker, the fixed user’s preference controls the fidelity, and the submitting user preference has no impact on it. If WVS is configured with $user, the worker executes as the user who submits the job, so his fidelity must be set appropriately.
See WVS Considerations with Trusted Host Authentication for information about configuring WVS with $user for batch interference detection jobs.
