Verifying the Windchill Directory Server Installation
This section is intended for verifying a successful upgrade or update of Windchill Directory Server. You can skip this section if you are performing a new installation, since verification will be performed as part of the subsequent Windchill install.
The following verification should be performed on an update or upgrade of Windchill Directory Server after importing data from the previous installation.
1. Start the Windchill Directory Server if it is not running.
2. From the control panel, start the Windchill Directory Server if it is not running.
3. Use the control panel Manage Entries window to verify that the same entries are available as in the original installation.
4. Start the Windchill solution and verify correct operation. If Windchill starts and users can login, then the update or upgrade of the Windchill Directory Server has completed successfully
