Scheduling Tasks Using the Control Panel
This section describes how to schedule a backup task using the control panel.
1. Start the control panel.
2. Select Backup....
3. Enter the following parameters:
◦ Backup
◦ Backup Type
◦ BackupID
◦ Parent Backup Path
◦ Parent Backup Path
4. In the Backup Options, click Change.
5. In the ‘Backup’ Task Schedule window, select the launch schedule desired. Additional fields appear in the window that can be used to define the task schedule. Click OK and the task schedule window closes. The selected schedule is now displayed in the Backup Options section of the Run Backup window. The periodic schedule is displayed in the Cron format. Refer to "Scheduling tasks via command line" for a brief description of the Cron format.
6. Select any of the remaining Backup Options desired and click OK to schedule the task.
