Using the dsreplication status command
One of the ways to monitor replication is through the dsreplication status command. For example:
dsreplication status --hostname <server-1> --adminUID admin
--adminPassword admin --trustAll
The output from this command shows a summary of replication status for each baseDN. A list is displayed of each server participating in replication along with a status of replication with that server. This command is useful to provide a quick picture of the overall health of replication. The following is a sample output:
