The following table lists the base measures and units that are the basis for all convertible units. All unit values are stored in Windchill using these units and are based on the International System of Units (SI) measurement system.

The indicated symbols in the following table are the default display units that represent the measurable physical property, or base measure in all standard and any newly created measurement systems. For a given measurement system, the display units for each base measure can be edited to display any compatible supported unit string. The Windchill Pure Units topic provides two tables that list the symbols compatible with the base units.
