Deleting Templates
The process you use to delete a template depends on the type of template you want to delete:
• For life cycle templates, use the Life Cycle Template Administration utility.

• For report templates, use the Report Management utility.
For more information, see About Other Templates.
• For team templates, use the Team Administration utility.
For more information, see About Other Templates.
• For CAD document templates, you can delete a template from only its information page. (Arbortext Content Manager or Windchill PDMLink only)
• For task form templates, you can delete a template from the Templates page.
For other templates, you can delete a template from its information page or from the Templates page.
Use the following procedure to delete a template from the Templates page:
1. Access the Templates table under the context where the template was created.
2. Select the type of template from the table view drop-down list.
3. Locate the template from the list of templates and select Delete from the corresponding right-click actions menu.
4. A message appears confirming that you want to delete it. Click Yes.
5. The Templates page refreshes, and the template is removed.
