Adding a Vendor Part
Adding a vendor part to the AVL associates that vendor part with the OEM part.

You can also associate a vendor part to a manufacturer part using the add manufacturer part icon  . For details, see Adding a Manufacturer Part. |
To add a vendor part to the AVL:
1. Go to the AML/AVL table.
2. Click the add vendor part icon
.
The Add Vendor Part window opens.
3. Search for a vendor part.
a. If you are searching for a part, enter the part name or number and click Search.
| Alternatively, you can search for a part by the vendor name. |
b. From the search results, select the part to add to the AML/AVL.
c. Click OK.
4. In the Add Vendor Part window, select the vendor sourcing status from the drop-down list. The selected part is added to the list.
5. Click OK.
A new row is added to the AML/AVL table, listing the associated vendor part.
