Part Request Process Roles
The part request process uses several roles to which the Team template assigns appropriate tasks. The Team template is selected when the part request is created.

If there are no users assigned to the roles from the PR Workflow within the product, the roles are assigned to the Site Administrator by default who receives all workflow tasks.
The following roles are used in the part request process.

Creator
Initiates a part request. Can be any Windchill user with permission to create a part request.
Planning
PR Coordinator
Verifies that a part request is valid and contains all required information.
In review
Component Engineer
Checks Windchill for part duplication. Approves the creation of an OEM part. Can create OEM parts and reference AMLs. Finds and creates alternate manufacturer parts.
In review
EDA Librarian
Decides whether a new footprint is required for electronic components. Approves new footprints and symbols that are added to the EDA library.
Implementation
MCAD Librarian
Manages a library of MCAD models. Decides whether a new MCAD model is needed.
Sets the life cycle state for the supplier
Footprint Designer
Creates electronic footprint models.
