Using the Performance Feedback Settings Page
Clicking the Performance Feedback Settings link on the System Health Monitoring Tools page, displays the Performance Feedback Settings page. From this page, you can adjust a number of key performance log settings.
Adjusting Performance Log Settings
If you are a member of the site Administrators group or a user listed in the wt.util.jmx.AccessUtil.siteAdministrators property, you can easily adjust performance log settings for the current session using the fields provided under the following headings on the Performance Feedback Settings page:
Servlet Request Logging
Level:
Controls the verbosity level of the servlet request logger in the servlet engine.
Format:
Select between short and long log formats for servlet request logging. The long format includes the name of each included data attribute.
Attributes:
Lists the attributes of servlet request to include in the servlet request log. The order in which the attributes are listed determines the log entry order.
Supported Attributes:
Lists all servlet request attributes supported for use with logging.
MSStats Level:
Controls the verbosity level for logging JDBC and JNDI aggregate statistics for the servlet request. This logger provides the same information as the JDBC and JNDI sections of the performance footer.
Method Context Logging
RMI Level:
Controls the verbosity level for logging method contexts that result from RMI requests.
IE Level:
Controls the verbosity level for logging method contexts that result from Info*Engine requests.
Format:
Select between short and long log formats for servlet request logging. The long format includes the name of each included data attribute.
Attributes:

WTObject Counter:
Controls whether WTObject construction and finalization is tracked. Select Enabled to provide meaningful data for the WTObjectsConstructed and WTObjectsFinalized logging attributes.
For memory allocation and object reference tracking beyond the WTObjectsConstructed and WTObjectsFinalized logging attributes, PTC recommends using a Java 6 JVM and the NetBeans memory profiler.
JCA Timing
Level:
Controls the verbosity level for JCA timing logging.
SQL Logging
Level:
Controls the verbosity level for SQL logging.
HTML Performance Footer
By default, the performance footer is disabled. PTC recommends that you do not enable this footer.
Because the statistics provided by the footer only cover the request for the page itself and do not cover the AJAX requests therein, the footer is no longer useful. Additionally, using the footer could cause problems when rendering a page.
In the future, this footer will be deprecated.
