Organization Name (organization_identifier)
Whether the access information applies to the participant or all users except the participant. If the All Defined Access view is selected on the Access table, participants displayed in the table are grouped by the Applies To column by default. For example, if a policy access control rule is set for user Chris Taylor, the Access table contains a row for Chris Taylor in the Applies To: Participant grouping. If the policy rule is set for all users except Chris Taylor, the Access table contains a row for Chris Taylor in the Applies To: All except participant grouping.
Organization (if the participant is associated with an organization). For example, user-defined groups created from the Organization tab have an associated organization and user-defined groups created elsewhere do not have an associated organization.
The distinguished name (DN) of a participant as defined in a directory service. The DN helps identify the participant when there is more than one participant with the same name. If the participant is a system group, then there is no DN as system groups are not defined in a directory service.
The following examples provide samples of what you may see:
For the user named Chris Taylor who is a member of the ACME organization:
Participant Name: Chris Taylor (ctaylor: ACME)
Applies To: Participant
Organization: ACME
DN: uid=ctaylor,ou=people,dc=enterpriseldap,cn=windchill,o=acme
For the system group named Consultant that corresponds to the Consultant role in the Bike Design project that is created under the ACME organization:
Participant Name: Consultant (Project - Bike Design)
Applies To: Participant
Organization: ACME
For all users except the user-defined group named Administrators:
Participant Name: Administrators (Site)
Applies To: All except participant
Organization:
DN: cn=administrators,ou=people,dc=administrativeldap,cn=windchill,o=acme
Along with the identity of the participant, the permissions that are currently granted and not granted are listed. The permissions granted and not granted take into account any permissions restricted by an administrative lock. If security labels are enabled, an indication of whether the participant is restricted by security labels is also displayed. If the participant's access is restricted by security labels, the participant is unable to view objects or perform actions that the permission settings would otherwise allow. If the access displayed is for all users except a participant, the group of users represented by the all except participant access page are always restricted by security labels, even if some individual users within the all except participant group of users are members of the unrestricted participants for the label value.
