Security Labels and Arbortext Editor
Security labels can be applied to files generated from Arbortext Editor in multiple ways:
Using the Save as Server Object action in Arbortext Editor to burst the document
*
To perform the Save as Server Object action, the user must be cleared for all security label values set on the object or the action will fail.
For more information on bursting rules, see the Arbortext Content Management Guide.
Through setting object initialization rules on the dynamic document and graphics dynamic document objects
For more information on setting object initialization rules, see Define Object Initialization Rules for Security Labels.
*
Security labels can only be applied to new dynamic document or graphic dynamic document objects. Objects of these types that already exist in Windchill cannot have security labels applied to them. Existing security label settings can be viewed and updated using the Edit Security Labels action from the workspace. For more information, see Setting Security Labels on New Objects in a Workspace.
The security labels set on a dynamic document are viewable by selecting Edit > Object Properties in Arbortext Editor.
For more information about security labels and Arbortext Editor, see the Arbortext Content Management Guide.
