Editing a Data Monitor
All attributes of a data monitor can be edited, except for the saved report on which the data monitor is based (the Report Criteria field). Common reasons for editing a data monitor include:
Updating the notification email settings (recipients, subject line, or message)
Changing the frequency or number of firings for the data monitor
Resetting the start and end times or number of firings once the originally defined values have been met
Changing the data monitor name or description to reflect changes
When the data monitor is edited, all schedule queue entries of the data monitor are updated; entries in the process queue are not impacted.
1. Select Edit from:
the right-click actions menu for the data monitor on the Data Monitors table
the actions menu on the data monitor information page
2. In the Edit Data Monitor window, enter or update the information in the following fields. The fields are grouped into three categories.
