Deleting a Queue
Deleting background queues is done using a command line utility from within a windchill shell.

Delete only queues that you have created. Do not delete out-of-the box queues. Deleting out-of-the box queues can cause Windchill errors.
Use the following procedure to delete a background queue that you have created:
1. As the Windchill administrator, open a windchill shell from a command prompt by selecting the windchill shell short cut on Windows machines or by typing the following on a command at a command prompt on the machine where the Windchill code resides:
windchill shell
2. Enter the following command to start the utility:
java wt.queue.QueueManager
Background Queue Administration options are presented.
3. Enter the number of the Select queue option.
A list of queues is presented.
4. Enter the number of the queue you want to delete to select the queue.
The queue is selected and initial set of options is presented.
5. Enter the number of Delete queue option.
The queue is deleted and initial set of options is presented.
6. Exit the utility by entering the number of the Exit option.
