Adding and Changing Object Initialization Rules

You can add and change rules as follows:

• By using the Object Initialization Rules Administration utility.

• By creating additional context templates or updating existing templates. See Specifying Object Initialization Rules in a Context Template.

• When creating a subtype through the site- or organization-level Type and Attribute Management utility, a rule is automatically created that sets the default life cycle for the subtype.
