When opening the Info*Engine Property Administration utility, you are required to provide the log in information.

There are three fields that must be completed to login to the Info*Engine Property Administration utility: Base URI, LDAP Server Administrator, and Password.

The value to set for Base URI is the host where the LDAP directory resides, the LDAP directory level to use when displaying existing service entries, and the default directory level for creating new entries. For example, assume the properties being configured in Property Administration are located on the host named “ldap.company.com” in the dc=windchill,dc=company,dc=com,cn=config,o=company subtree of that directory. Then the base URI is:

The value to set for LDAP Server Administrator is the distinguished name of the LDAP user used to authenticate against the directory. Typically, enter the distinguished name of LDAP server administrator that was created when installing Windchill. For example:

The distinguished name entered must have write access to the Windchill Directory Server to login.

The value to set for Password is the LDAP Server Administrator password.
