Skill Information Page

Skills represent the ability of a human to perform a certain task, up to a certain level of complexity.

The skill information page is a collection point for information related to the skill. The information page of a skill is accessed by clicking the information icon

.

From the information page, you can perform actions on a skill, as well as view the object attributes and any related information.

Actions

Information pages contain a list of applicable actions in a menu in the upper left corner of the page. The availability of these actions depends on the status of the skill, as well as your access to it. For more information about status indicators, see Object Status.

The following actions are of particular interest for this object.

Action	Description
Display Related Manufacturing Objects	Opens the Related Manufacturing Objects Report, providing access to the Object List table. The Object List table allows you to view, collect, and associate additional related objects to the given object.

Tabs

The following tabs are viewable on the skill information page. You can customize the tabs that appear on each object information page to display the information most useful to you. For more information, see Customizing Information Page Tabs.

Administrators have the ability to modify the tabs that are viewable to you.

Tab	Description
Details	The Details tab displays the attributes of an object. See Object Attributes for a list of common attributes available in Windchill. Also, see About Visualization. The following attributes are of particular interest for this object. • Skills • Attributes • Process • System
Structure	The Structure tab allows you to create a logical representation for an object. From this tab you can view the following tables: • Parts • Described by Documents • References Documents See Object Attributes for a list of common attributes available in Windchill.
Where Used	The Where Used tab allows you to determine in which assemblies or product structures the selected part is being used. From this tab you can view the following related tables: • Process Plan Use • Where Used See Object Attributes for a list of common attributes available in Windchill.
Related	The Related tab allows you to view, add, change, or remove related standard procedure associations. From this tab you can view the following related tables: • Described by Documents • References Documents • CAD/Dynamic Documents See Object Attributes for a list of common attributes available in Windchill.
History	The History tab allows you to view the entire process of the object through its workflow states. From this tab you can view the following tables: • Timeline Displays a graphical time line of the part through the workflow states. Changes	The Changes tab displays information about change objects and tasks. You can view the following tables on this tab: • Issues and Variances • Change Requests See Object Attributes for a list of common attributes available in Windchill.
Collaboration	The Collaboration tab displays information on the object or objects it is associated with. It also provides an overview of project members’ interactions with the object.
