Removing Usage Links and Occurrences in BOM Transformer
Use the Remove action to delete usage links and occurrences in BOM Transformer.
To Remove Usage Links in Usage Mode
1. In the tree structure, select one or more usage links.
2. Right-click and select Remove. The Confirm dialog box appears. Alternatively, click > Remove to remove a usage link.
3. Click OK.
The selected usage links are removed, and the tree structure is updated. The occurrences under that usage link are also deleted.
To Remove Occurrences and Usage Links Belonging to the Same Parent Part in Occurrence Mode
1. Click to enable occurrence display mode
2. Select one or more occurrences
3. Right-click and select Remove. The Confirm dialog box appears. Alternatively, click > Remove to remove an occurrence
4. Optionally, select the Also remove the uses relationship check box to remove the usage links between occurrences.

The Also remove the uses relationship check box is displayed only if all the occurrences under an assembly are selected. If the number of usage links is more than the number of occurrences, no check box is displayed.
5. Click OK.
If the Also remove the uses relationship check box is selected, the occurrence and the usage link are removed. If the check box is not selected, the usage link is maintained and only the selected occurrences are removed.
Use the same procedure to remove occurrences and usage links in SAPSB.
To Remove Occurrences and Usage Links Belonging to Different Parent Parts in Occurrence Mode
This option is useful in the following scenario:
A structure consisting of two different assemblies where, the first parent part has only one occurrence under it. The second parent part has multiple occurrences under it. The occurrence under the first and second parent parts are not the same.
1. Click to enable occurrence display mode.
2. Select the occurrence under the first parent part and an occurrence under the second parent part.
3. Right-click the selected occurrences and select Remove. The Confirm dialog box appears.
4. Select the Also remove the uses relationship check box.
5. Click OK.
The occurrence under the first parent part is removed along with its usage link. The other occurrence from the second parent part is also removed but its usage link is maintained.
