Manufacturing Documents
Given that different document files, such as specifications, requirements, assembly functions, technical publications, and services documents are integral to product development, Windchill PDMLink has document management functions that enable you to create, view, modify, and manage documents. Windchill documents are managed in the context of the product development process, are secured, life-cycle managed, and can be part of a change process. These documents can then be associated with Windchill MPMLink objects.
You can access the Windchill document management functions within Windchill PDMLink, or if you have Windchill Desktop Integration installed, you can access these functions within Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, or Microsoft PowerPoint.
