Updating an Alternate BOM Number
To update a branch:
1. Select the assembly part that contains the alternate BOM number to update.
2. Select Selected > Update Alternate BOM Number.
The Update Alternate BOM Number window opens.
3. Select options from the BOM Type, and Alternate Number drop-down lists:
◦ BOM Type:
Specify the type of BOM that is to be applied to this branch (for example, Production, Testing).
◦ Alternate Number:
Specify the BOM number that is to be applied to the branch.
4. Click OK.
