Creating an Enumerated Type Value
To add a new enumerated type value, use the following procedure:
1. Access the resource bundle to which you want to add the enumerated type value.
2. Click New.
A blank line is displayed at the bottom of the list.
3. Fill in the fields in the lower panel.
Your entries appear in the table in the upper panel as you type. The new value moves to the proper row in the sort table as soon as you begin to make an entry in the Display Name field.
4. Select Selectable to make the value of the enumerated type usable.
5. Select Default Value if you want the new value to be the default value.
*
For types that appear in the Type and Attribute Management utility, default values for attributes must be set within the Type and Attribute Management utility. For more information, see Working with the Type and Attribute Management Utility.
6. Continue working with enumerated type values or, if you are satisfied with the changes you have made, click Save to save the customizations and compile the resource bundle. Error messages appear if syntax is incorrect.
or
Click Exit to exit without saving any changes.
