Updating Enterprise Transactions
A transaction is a record of the activities that are the result of publishing a Windchill solution object. The following Windchill solution objects are publishable: component parts, manufacturing objects (process plans and resources), bills of material and their associated substitutes, line numbers, reference designators, documents, CAD document structures, option sets, and change notices.
Transactions administration allows a user or administrator to enter search criteria to locate information on one or more transactions. Users can access transactions that they initiated; administrators can see all transactions by accessing the Enterprise Systems Transaction Log. Administrators can also edit or mark for deletion any transaction in a failed or pending state that has been released to a destination but does not appear to have succeeded.

Any transaction that is updated by an administrator will display the following message in the message field for that transaction:
The transaction status has been updated by the administrator.
