Setting the Impact
After the administrative actions are complete, you can set the impact of a change task on a baseline member while creating or editing the change task. For more information, see Creating a Change Task or Editing a Change Task.
An Impacted Objects tab is visible while creating or editing the change task. You can add the baseline members that you intend to update through the change task in the Impacted Objects table.
Optionally, you can create a change task using the New Change Notice action displayed on the configured Variant Baselines tab on a part information page. On selecting a baseline, this action initiates the New Change Notice wizard and populates the default change task with the selected part as the affected object and the selected baseline as the impacted object.
