Saving a Chart
Saving a chart allows you to save chart settings on a specific table or report for later reuse. Once saved, a chart can be reloaded later, instead of being manually built each time. Multiple charts can be saved for a single table. Saved charts are only visible to the user who originally saved the chart.
To save a new chart:
1. Enter the desired chart settings. A chart must be displayed in the preview pane before the chart can be saved.
2. Click the save icon or save as icon .
3. In the Save As window, enter a Chart Name. The Chart Name defaults to the Chart Title and can be changed, but must be unique for the user saving the chart. The Chart Name is only displayed in the Saved Charts drop-down list.
To save changes to an existing saved chart:
1. View the saved chart by selecting the chart name from the Saved Charts drop-down list.
2. Modify the chart settings.
3. Click the save icon .
To save a copy of an existing saved chart as a new saved chart:
1. View the saved chart by selecting the chart name from the Saved Charts drop-down list.
2. Click the save as icon .
3. Enter a Chart Name for the new chart. The chart name must be unique for the user saving the chart.
