Creating and Managing Access Control Rules
Access control rules can be created and managed in the following ways:
Authorized administrators can create and manage policy rules that are based on a specific combination of a domain, an object type, a life cycle state, and a participant using the Policy Administration utility. For more information, see Creating and Editing Access Control Rules.
Authorized users can create and manage ad hoc rules that are for a specific object and a participant using the Access table, which is available from the Edit Access Control action, the Create Folder window, or when sharing an object. For more information, see Access Table (Single Object).
