The Save Modified Instances command allows you to save the modified instances of an object to the Workspace. In NX, select PTC Windchill > Save Modified Instances to access this command. When the Independently Modify Instances preference is set to Yes, the Save Modified Instances command is available in the Windchill toolbar, while the Save and Check Out commands work only on the generic files.
