Classic Plan Table
The Plan table displays on the Plan page under Project in the Navigation pane.
Several different views are available from a drop-down menu on the plan table allowing you to reorganize the plan objects according to different criteria. The available views include:
Plan Hierarchy
Activities
My Activities
Milestones
My Milestones
Completed Objects
Uncompleted Objects
Overdue Objects
Objects Not Started
At Risk Objects
The following table lists and describes the fields, buttons, and actions available on the Plan table.
Field Name
Description
ID
The identification number of the plan object. This allows you to organize the different plan objects. When you create plan objects, you have the option of inserting them before, after, or as the child of another plan object, identified by its ID.
Plan
The name and type of the plan object. Click on the plan object name to view the Details page of the plan object.
Actions
Actions available for this plan object, such as Subscribe or Edit. The list of available actions varies depending on your permissions.
Status
The current status of the plan object. Green indicates no problems. Yellow indicates caution. Red indicates an alert of high risk. If the status is unavailable, the unavailable icon is displayed.
Done
The percentage of the work that has been completed. This percentage is specified during the edit of a plan object.
Start
The date on which the plan object work is to begin.
Duration
The number of days the plan object has existed from start to finish date. This number is automatically calculated by the system; however, you can manually enter a number during the creation or an edit of the plan object.
Finish
The date by which the plan object work will be completed.
Due Date
The date by which all project or program work must be completed.
Predecessor
The ID number of any predecessor plan objects. These are specified during the creation or an edit of the plan object. Predecessor plan objects define constraint relationships for the current plan object. For example, if Activity A is named as a predecessor to Activity B, then Activity B cannot be started until Activity A has been completed.
Owner
The name of the individual assigned as the owner of the plan object. This person is responsible for the editing and completion of the plan object.
Action
Description
Delete
Delete one or more selected plan objects. If no plan object is selected, this action deletes the plan.
Edit the status information of any selected milestones, activities, or deliverables.
Outdent
Outdent any selected plan objects. For example, if a milestone appears as a child of a summary activity, but you want it to be on the same level, select the milestone check box and click Outdent. If you remove a plan object from within a summary activity, then the estimated and actual date information, duration, percent complete, and status calculations for the summary activity are edited to reflect the removal of that information.
Indent
Indent any selected plan objects. For example, if you want to make an existing milestone a child of an existing summary activity, select the milestone check box and click Indent. If you add a plan object to a summary activity, then the estimated and actual date information, duration, percent complete, and status calculations for the summary activity are edited to reflect the addition of that information.

You can only indent plan objects to be children of summary activities.
Add to Timeline
Add any selected plan objects to the timeline display.
Expand
Expand all plan objects and display the child objects. The default view is expanded.
Collapse
Collapse the plan objects so that only the top-level objects are displayed. You can then expand individual plan objects by clicking the expand node next to the plan object you want to expand.
Create a new activity.
Create a new summary activity.
Create a new sub project/program.
Create a new milestone.
Import Microsoft Project Plan
Import a plan from Microsoft Project. This button may or may not appear depending on your execution control and the state of the plan.
Edit Plan in Microsoft Project
Edit the plan in Microsoft Project. This button may or may not appear depending on your execution control and the state of the plan.
Export Plan to Microsoft Project
Export the plan to Microsoft Project. This button may or may not appear depending on your execution control and the state of the plan.
Start
Execute the plan. This button only appears if you have selected to automatically execute the plan.
Suspend
Suspend the plan. All activities and tasks are suspended until the plan is restarted. This button only appears if you have selected to automatically execute the plan.
Complete
Complete the plan. This button only appears if you have selected to automatically execute the plan.
Resume
Resume execution of the plan. This button only appears if you have suspended the plan.
When the deliverable icon appears next to a milestone or activity, it indicates that a deliverable is associated with the milestone or activity. Click this button to view the information page of the associated deliverable.
When the multiple deliverables icon appears next to a milestone or activity, it indicates that multiple deliverables are associated with the milestone or activity. Click this button to access a table listing all of the associated deliverables.
When the associated task icon appears next to a milestone or activity, it indicates that a task is associated to the object. Click this button to view the task page and complete or edit the task.
