The integration of Windchill with Integrity Lifecycle Manager provides effective use and management of the external data, which is defined in Integrity Lifecycle Manager, in Windchill. The setup for such an integration requires OSLC server integrated with Integrity Lifecycle Manager, and an API gateway using ThingWorx Flow. A Windchill administrator is required to configure these applications to interact with each other and to display the external data in Windchill.
When working in an integrated mode, you can fetch, add trace link, and view requirements for a Windchill part in Windchill itself, instead of switching to Integrity Lifecycle Manager. The Traces tab is available in the part structure browser. The New Tab on the Part Information Page can be customize to display the Traced To table.
