Automatic representation is now available for Creo design context which was introduced in as a data loading enhancement in Creo 4.0. Automatic will be the default representation whenever you are creating a new design context, allowing Creo to load the minimum required data for presenting the assembly in the most accurate way.
Additional Details
A new representation type called Automatic is created for Include type design. Creo design contexts support setting this new representation on definition and resulting rules as part of the design context’s information. This will be the new default representation when server-side preferences are set to Include as ‘Lightweight’. Legacy design context may continue to use the older lightweight representations or can now be changed to the enhanced setting.
