Provides the ability to reuse existing plan or activity within same or different contexts by creating subplan in a plan that acts as a reference or proxy for another plan or activity.

Subplan is introduced to break down a large plan into separate pieces that can be managed and executed by separate teams. You can create subplan from the Schedule table. When creating a subplan, you can assign a reference to plan or plan activity within same or different project, program, or product contexts. All the schedule attributes are rolled up from the referenced plan or activity to subplan. You can also create subtypes of subplan in Type and Attribute Management utility to meet your business requirements.
