Associating an Enterprise Data Object with a Document
To associate a common or view-specific enterprise data object with a document, perform the following steps:
1. Select the document with which you want to associate an enterprise data object.
2. Customize the information page of the document to display the Enterprise Data tab. For more information, see Customizing Information Page Tabs.
3. On the Enterprise Data table, click Add Enterprise Data.
4. Search for the required objects, and click OK.
A message appears, confirming that the selected enterprise data objects will be checked out.
5. Click OK to confirm.
The newly associated objects are displayed in the checked-out state in the Enterprise Data table.

Only those users who are a member of the PTC MPMLink Module License, PTC Manufacturing License, or PTC BOM Transformation License profile have access to the Add Enterprise Data action.
