Applying Variant Specification on an Accountability Map
To apply a variant specification on an accountability map, perform the following steps:
1. Open an accountability map in MAPSB.
2. Click > > . The Select Variant Specification dialog box opens.
3. Select a variant specification and click OK. Alternatively, you can apply variant specification from Quick Plant Filter dialog box.
The parts that satisfy the criteria set in variant specification and accountability map are displayed in the upstream and downstream structures in MAPSB.
As the variant specification is applied on the accountability map, and not on the entire structure, only those parts in the accountability map, that satisfy the variant specification criteria appear.
Similarly, if you apply configuration specification or filter criteria, or both, on the accountability map, and not on the entire structure, only those parts in the accountability map, that satisfy the configuration specification and filter criteria appear.
