Configuring Attributes
Windchill Service Information Manager structures can contain a subset of attributes as metadata that can be included in translation, publishing, the payload manifest, and so on. You may need to configure a set of attributes for each type of usage using the AttributeSet configuration files. The AttributeSet format supports the ability to define the values that an attribute can include or apply. In the case of attribute types set by Windchill as enumerations, you can set a range as a subset of the supported values.
The AttributeSet format also provides a means to add metadata to attributes and their values when there is no other way to represent that data in Windchill using the Type Manager. AttributeSet can provide semantics to attributes or values represented by predefined tokens.
