Editing Item Attributes

The Edit Item Attributes window allows you to update attributes of the usage relationship between a selected part and its parent assembly part.

You can also use the Edit Item Attributes option to update standard type attributes of illustrations associated with a parts list. See Illustrations in a Parts List for information.

With a parts list open in the Parts List Editor, open the Edit Item Attributes window by selecting a parts list item or illustration and selecting Edit > Edit Item Attributes from the context menu. You can also click

Edit Item Attributes in the Items tab toolbar to edit attributes of the parts in a parts list.

The Edit Item Attributes window has the following fields.

Field	Description
Attributes	Lists the attributes of the part or illustration. Any attributes that can be modified have fields in which you can edit the values.
OK	Updates any changed attribute values and closes the Edit Item Attributes window.
Cancel	Closes the window without saving any changes to attribute values.
