Publication Module Types
Publication Module Types provides the set of types allowed when creating an S1000D 4.2 publication structure. The S1000D specification provides a standard list of values and allows for project specific values.
To add a new Publication Module Type to a look-up library:
1. In the Navigator pane, click the Recent Libraries button, and then View All.
The Libraries window is displayed.
2. Click the appropriate S1000D Look-Up Library library.
The folder view of the look-up library is displayed.
3. Open the Publication Module Types folder.
4. Select Publication Module Types.
The Publication Module Types object is displayed.
5. Click the Structures tab.
6. Select the Publication Module Types root node, and then select > from the context menu.
The New Part dialog box is displayed. Note that Type is Publication Module Type.
7. Add the name (ID) and description.
The values pt01 (Component maintenance publication), pt02 (Illustrated parts data) and pt03 (Service bulletin) are supplied.
For custom types, the name (ID) can be a value from pt51 to pt99, according to the S1000D specification.
8. Click Finish.
9. The new type is added under the Publication Module Types structure root node.
