Publish PDF from Arbortext Editor
You can preview PDF output, or generate a PDF file, from Arbortext Editor.

You can preview or publish PDF output of a publication module.

Preview PDF output
To check how your document will look in print by viewing it in a preview window:
1. Open the publication module in Arbortext Editor.
2. Choose > .
3. In the Select Page Set window, choose the page set that represents the required page size — A4 or US Letter.
4. In the Preview window, choose the stylesheet to be used to format your document. Click OK.
A preview of your document loads in the APP Preview window.
Generate a PDF file
To generate a PDF file from your document:
1. Open the publication module in Arbortext Editor.
2. Choose > > .
3. In the Select Page Set window, choose the page set that represents the required page size — A4 or US Letter. Click OK.
4. In the Publish to PDF File window, you can configure your publish action:
◦ Choose or set a location for the output PDF
◦ Select a stylesheet, or use the default file
◦ Select a PDF configuration file, or use the default file
◦ Specify which pages to output
Click OK.
A PDF of your document is generated. The PDF opens if you have Adobe Acrobat installed.
Each page size includes a different page size for foldouts:
• A4 page size — foldouts in A3 page size
• US Letter page size — foldouts in US Tabloid/Ledge page size
