Setting Service Parts Preferences for S1000D
The Windchill Service Parts Part List type is the default type of parts list created. For an S1000D product, this must be changed to create an S1000D parts list.
The default parts list type is defined with the Default Parts List Type preference:
1. In the Windchill navigator, browse for the existing S1000D product.
2. Expand the product in the navigator, then click the Utilities option.
3. Go to Preference Management.
4. Navigate to the Service Parts category. Expand the category.
5. Select the Default Part List Type preference, right click and select Set Preference.
6. Set the value of the preference to com.ptc.arbortext.windchill.partlist.PartList|sisaad.PartList. Click OK to save the change.
The value AAD Part List will be available in the Type field of the New Parts List Information Element dialog box.
