Running the Windchill Configuration Assistant
These topics describe how to run the Windchill Configuration Assistant using an ant command from within a windchill shell. Included is the command syntax, property settings, and log file information.
Throughout these topics, <Windchill> is used to represent the directory where your Windchill solution is installed.

For the best results, PTC recommends that you reboot your system before running the assistant. Rebooting your system clears operating system buffers and Windchill caches so that an accurate calculation of the amount of free RAM on the system can be done. After the reboot, restart only your database and any other third-party products not associated with Windchill that are normally running on the Windchill server. Do not restart Windchill, HTTP Server, or Windchill Directory Server before running the assistant.
