Controlling Access to the Windchill Directory Server Commands
The Windchill Directory Server is configured and controlled by command line tools. Access to these command line tools is controlled by normal file system permissions.
On Windows, these commands are not shared and are available only to a user with administrator privileges. The command line tools are in the following directories:
<WindchillDS>/server
and
<WindchillDS>/server/bat
On UNIX, the command line tools are in the following directories:
<WindchillDS>/server
and
<WindchillDS>/server/bin

Communication from the command line tools and the directory server uses SSL over the directory server administration port.
