Managing License Profiles
License profiles are created at the site level and provide visibility to capabilities associated with Windchill licenses. License profiles can only be created and edited by PTC. Each license profile has a predefined membership of a set of license groups. License profile participation should be extended by adding users to one of the profile’s Profile Members group. License compliance is only in place if users for whom licenses have been purchased are added to the respective license group. Users must be entitled to a license to access Windchill. If a user is not a member of any license group, then access to Windchill is denied. For more information, see Windchill License Groups.
