The timeline displays plan objects across the top of the Plan page above the Plan table according to due date.

You can modify the timeline by adding and removing plan objects. Milestones are automatically added to the timeline when they are created. The timeline appears after the first milestone has been created or after the first plan object has been added to the timeline.
