Manufacturing Capability
A manufacturing capability is a description of what a company is able to produce, along with the documents and standard procedures that can be used in production to achieve that capability. Manufacturing capabilities list standardized and approved ways of producing a specific result with varied technical means and facilitate the re-use of process planning information.
The manufacturing capability information page is a collection point for information related to the manufacturing capability. The information page of a manufacturing capability is accessed by clicking the information icon .
From the information page, you can perform actions on a manufacturing capability, as well as view the object attributes and any related information.

Actions
Information pages contain a list of applicable actions in a menu in the upper left corner of the page. The availability of these actions depends on the status of the manufacturing capability, as well as your access to it. For more information about status indicators, see Object Status .

Action
Description
Display Related Manufacturing Objects
Opens the Display Related Manufacturing Objects report, providing access to the Object List table. The Object List table allows you to view, collect, and associate additional related objects to the given object.
Tabs
The following tabs are viewable on the manufacturing capability information page. You can customize the tabs that appear on each object information page to display the information most useful to you. For more information, see Customizing Information Page Tabs.

The Details tab displays the attributes of an object.

The Related tab allows you to view, add, change, or remove parts, described by and referenced documents. From this tab you can view the following related tables:

History
The History tab allows you to view the entire process of the object through its workflow states. From this tab you can view the following tables:
• Timeline
Displays a graphical timeline of the part through the workflow states.

Changes
The Changes tab displays information about change objects and tasks. From this tab you can view the following related tables:
• Issues and Variances
• Change Requests
• Affected by Change Notices
• Resulting from Change Notices

Collaboration
The Collaboration tab displays information on the object or objects it is associated with. It also provides an overview of project members’ interactions with the object. From this tab you can view the following related tables:
