Inserting a New Manufacturing Capability
To create and insert a new manufacturing standard capability into the hierarchy of another manufacturing standard group, use the following procedure:
1. From the navigation pane select the manufacturing group to which you want to add a manufacturing capability.
2. Click the Uses tab.
3. Click the insert new manufacturing capability icon
. The
Insert New window opens.
4. Select options from the Context Type, Context Name, and Type drop-down lists. To immediately check out the new manufacturing capability, select Check out object.
5. Click Next.
6. Fill in the required fields (indicated by an asterisk) and any other desired fields.
7. Click OK. The newly created manufacturing capability appears in the Manufacturing Standards Browser in the proper mode.
