Windchill Workgroup Manager Toolkit API function enables you to programmatically (automatically) access Windchill file system and to copy or delete files in the Windchill file system.

This Toolkit API Function is not available with the default Windchill Workgroup Manager Toolkit installation. You must request the DLL file for this API function.

To access the Windchill file system, in Windchill Workgroup Manager, click Toolkit Demo > Windchill File System > WFS Basic Operations. The files and folders that are updated (created, renamed, or deleted) in the Windchill file system are listed in the Client Message area.

For example, a message such as ‘VFS Test: Created directory successfully’ could be displayed.
