Language Codes
A language code is commonly a two-character code that represents the name of a language.
Language code support in shipped S1000D product and library templates conforms to ISO standard ISO 639-1: Codes for the representation of names of languages - Part 1: Alpha-2 code (Issue 2002).
To add a new language code to a look-up library:
1. In the Navigator pane, click the Recent Libraries button, and then View All.
The Libraries window is displayed.
2. Click the appropriate S1000D Look-Up Library library.
The folder view of the look-up library is displayed.
3. Open the Languages Codes folder.
4. Select Language Codes.
The Language Codes object is displayed.
5. Click the Structures tab.
6. Select the Language Codes root node, and then select > from the context menu.
The New Part dialog box is displayed. Note that Type is Language Code Type.
7. Add the language code name and description
8. Click Finish.
9. The new language code is added under the Language Codes structure root node.
