Connecting and Disconnecting with Windchill
When Arbortext IsoDraw is running, this option allows the user to automatically connect to the Windchill server and open the Windchill Workgroup Manager client.
1. Select Edit > Preferences
in Arbortext IsoDraw.
2. Click the Windchill panel icon to open the Windchill panel.

If the Windchill panel is locked, it will not open when you click the Windchill icon. Rather, the previously panel will remain open. You might need an administrator password to unlock the Windchill preferences panel.
3. Select or clear the Connect to Windchill check box.
◦ Select Connect to Windchill if you want to automatically connect to Windchill and open the Windchill Workgroup Manager client when Arbortext IsoDraw is running.

The first time an Arbortext IsoDraw user connects to the Windchill server, the “connected to Windchill” appears in the Arbortext IsoDraw title bar, and the Windchill toolbar is displayed and available. This message displays whenever Arbortext IsoDraw is running, and the preference to Connect to Windchill option is selected in the Windchill panel.
The Windchill toolbar remains open whenever Arbortext IsoDraw is running and the preference to Connect to Windchill option is selected in the Windchill panel.
You can choose to close the Windchill toolbar from the Window > Toolbars option. Also refer to Opening and Closing the Windchill Toolbar.
◦ Clear Connect to Windchill if you do not want to automatically connect to Windchill and open the Windchill Workgroup Manager client when Arbortext IsoDraw is running.

When the Connect to Windchill option is cleared, Arbortext IsoDraw is disconnected from the Windchill server and the Windchill Workgroup Manger client. The Windchill toolbar is unavailable (grayed out), and the Windchill PDM Actions in Arbortext IsoDraw are disabled (removed from Arbortext IsoDraw).
